When Snoh Aalegra’s team reached out to AllofUs about her upcoming tour and headline show at the Sydney Opera House, we knew that we had the opportunity to create something spectacular. This show was in-the-round, with a sold-out audience seated on all sides of the stage eagerly awaiting her first performance in Australia.
Snoh is an incredible performer and musician. We set out to create something that would match her energy on stage and transport her audience through the different emotions that her music so eloquently evokes.
Our goal was to design a performance area that could change forms throughout the show. The range of human emotions can be so simple at its core, yet extremely complex. This concept was guided by these core principles.
Our design called for a stage that could feel grand yet intimate, vulnerable yet powerful, intentional, graceful, emotionally charged, atmospheric and dreamy. A living, breathing stage that could evolve, unfold, blossom and transform during the show.
